Warnings for safety and use

This manual is an integral part of the appliance. It should be kept in good condition
and close to the appliance for the whole lifecycle of the cooker. We recommend read-
ing this manual very carefully before using the cooker. Also keep the set of injectors
provided. No warranty claims can be lodged for any damage resulting from failure to
observe these instructions. The installation must be carried out by qualified per-
sonnel and in compliance with current standards. This appliance is for domestic
use and conforms to the EU directives currently in force. This appliance is designed
for the following functions: cooking and heating of food; any other use is to be con-
sidered improper use. The manufacturer declines any responsibility should the
appliance be used for purposes other than those indicated.
Remove the packaging from the appliance and dispose of it properly. Do not leave
any pieces of the packaging unattended in the home. Keep packaging elements away
from children. Separate the various packaging materials and deliver them to the near-
est recycling centre.
Once the packaging has been removed check that the cooker is not damaged.
If you are in any doubt in this respect, do not use the cooker.
Thoroughly clean the appliance and accessories before using them for the first time.
This will eliminate any "newness" smells and soiling (see also "Cleaning and mainte-
nance).
An earth connection is required by legislation and must comply with the conditions
demanded by the safety standard for the electrical cable and wiring system. Electrical
safety of the appliance can be ensured only if the equipment earth in the building instal-
lation has been installed according to regulations.
The plug to be connected to the power supply cable and the socket to be used must
be the same type and must comply with current standards. After installing the appli-
ance make sure that the plug is accessible to allow regular inspection.
Do not pull out the plug by pulling the cable.
Repairs must be carried out by authorised specialists, thus ensuring electrical safety.
Isolate the appliance from the mains for any maintenance operation. To do this, remove
the plug from the mains or remove the corresponding fuse. Close the gas supply.
