HOW TO USE YOUR APPLIANCE
Jug blender can be used to mix dairy products, sauces, soups, juices,
fruit drinks or cocktails. You can also prepare pancake batter, may-
onnaise or milk for babies.
1. Assemble the components as shown on Figure 1. Place the blade
into the locking ring, then the seal (Fig. 2, items 1 and 2). Screw
the blade unit onto the jug base turning it counter-clockwise (Fig.
2, item 3). Place the jug with the blade assembly in the appropriate
position on the body (Fig. 2, item 4).
2. Place the ingredients in the blender jug, without exceeding the
maximum amount. The temperature of the ingredients should be
no higher than 65°C.
3. Close the jug tightly with the measuring cup. The appliance will
not operate without the lid, and it must be installed and tightened
to the appropriate position (Fig. 4).
4. Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
5. To turn on the appliance set the function dial to position 1, 2 or
Pulse (this function requires to hold the dial) - fig 3.
6. When you have finished using the appliance, turn it off by turning
the function knob to the "0" position and unplug the plug from the
wall socket. Then remove the jug from the base and remove the lid.
Note!
Do not remove the jug when the base motor is operating because
it may damage the drive element. If you remove the jug from the
motor base during operation, the appliance will turn off.
Before placing the jug on the base, set the function knob to the "0"
position (Fig. 3) and make sure that the motor has come to a full
stop.
Do not use the appliance for more than 2 minutes or for more than
30 seconds when fragmenting hard food products. Leave the appli-
ance to cool down to room temperature for about 5 minutes after
each use.
PRACTICAL EVERYDAY TIPS:
- To avoid splashing, do not fill the jug above the maximum level
marking of 1.5l.
- If you are processing a liquid that foams or increases volume during
blending, do not fill the jug more than ⅔ of the maximum volume.
- If the solid ingredients are not been mixed well enough, use the
PULSE (P) function several times (Fig. 3).
- Never put your fingers or objects into the jug during blending.
- When processing both solid and liquid ingredients, pour the liquid
into the jug before turning on the appliance. Add solid ingredients
in the next step.
The appliance is equipped with thermal protection. If it is in opera-
tion too long it may switch off. If this happens, switch the function
knob to the "0" position (Fig. 3) and disconnect the plug from the
power supply. It can then be turned on again once the temperature
of the motor unit has cooled to room temperature.
The appliance will not operate without the lid, and it must be in-
stalled and tightened to the appropriate position (Fig. 4).
