Advices:
• The �me the probes need to reach the temperature set point is much higher as the difference
in diameter of the probes and the diameter of the hole is bigger.
• Do not insert the probe when the instrument has already reached the set temperature.
Thermal shock causes instability and breakage of the sensi�ve element of the probe.
• For the calibra�on of temperature transducers in special execu�on, customised well inserts
are available on request. Please contact your supplier in this case.
Remember to set the instrument to ambient temperature and let it cool down,
before switching it off.
4.1 Descrip�on of the instrument
The temperature calibrator consist of a metal dry well with one or two holes into which, the
inserts available for almost any temperatur sensor size to be calibrated, are inserted
(see chapter 4).
The thermo-electric devices heat and cool the block (depending on the model) and an electronic
microcontroller with sta�c relay output checks and regulates the temperature.
A fan mounted in the central side generates a constant airflow that reduces the temperature of
the case.
