Original Operating Instructions
The diagram shows a typical pedelec (a), which may look similar to the one
you have purchased. Today's pedelecs come in various types that are de-
signed for specific uses (b+c) and are equipped accordingly.
Pay particular attention to the following symbols:
This symbol indicates an imminent risk to your life or health un-
less you comply with the instructions given or take preventive
measures.
This symbol warns you of incorrect actions that could result in
damage to property and the environment.
This symbol provides you with information about how to handle
the product or refers to a passage in the original operating in-
structions that deserves your special attention.

The described possible consequences will not be repeated in the translation
of these original operating instructions for pedelecs every time one of the
symbols appears.

ble to any other than to the type of pedelec shown.
Read in any case the detailed general bicycle user manual
and the system instructions of the drive manufacturer that you
have received from your bicycle dealer.
Also observe the enclosed user manuals of the component manufactur-
ers. The translation of the present original operating instructions is subject
to European law. If delivered to countries outside Europe, supplementary
information has to be provided by the bicycle manufacturer.
These original operating instructions are an additional user manual. They
make up a system together with the system instructions of the drive manu-
facturer and the general bicycle user manual that you were given with your
pedelec.
