Except for the use with long leads (> 30 m ) acc. to IEC 61326-1:2012 / 3.10 .
It is assumed that the the pressure transmitter is fed directly via the higher-level control or by a local
voltage supply and not via a DC distribution network according to the standards.

Description of the safety function
The safety function has been defined as the release of a pressure proportional output signal
which is realised with the specified measurement accuracy within the specified operating
condition and input parameters.

In case of internal error detection, the pressure transmitter's corresponding signal enters the
"safe state".
11.5
Normal operation
Normal operation of the pressure transmitter is characterised by a output signal (t > 2 sec)
which permanently lies within the following ranges:
11.5.1 Operation without comparison of the output signals (Signal 1 only):
Signal 1: in the range of 3.6 mA to 21.6 mA.
11.5.2 Operation with comparison of the output signals (Signal 1 and 2):
Signal 1: in the range of 3.6 mA to 21.6 mA,
Signal 2: in the range of 20.4 mA to 2.4 mA and
(pressure value sgnal 1 minus pressure value signal 2) < 4 % FS

Safe state
The safe state is characterised by the output signal being permanently or cyclically outside
of the following ranges:
11.6.1 Operation without comparison of the output signals (Signal 1 only):
Signal 1: outside of the range of 3.6 mA to 21.6 mA.
