4, - The "Orchestra" section, as mentioned
above, |s initially recelved on channel 1 inde-
pendently of the channel used by the transmit-
ting instrument
(this receiving mode is Known
as "Omni Gn*). if the OMNI button is pressed,
which means presetting in the "Omni Off mo-
de {LED on), this section will only be received
if the second instrument transmits it on chan-
nel.
5, - At the origin, the note patie of the "Bass"
and "Auto Soloist" section correspond to the
selections made on this keyboard.
This programming can be altered by pressing
the Ext Bass andlor the Ext Auto Soloist
buttons. In this way, when this keyboard is pla-
ed, the "Bass" and the "Auto
Soloist!' notes
aing transmitted from a second instrument
can be heard.
Note - "Bass" and "Auto Soloist are used con-
ventionally to indicate any éxternal monopho-
nhe section.
6. - When the keyboard is being played, toge-
ther with a rhythm the preset Tempo (Clock) is
automatically transmitted in the MIDI code.
However, if you wish to reguiate the rhythm
tempo by means of the instrument connected,
the Ext Cleck button must be pressed (LED
on),
7. - To leave the programming mode, the Midi
Mode button must be
pressed again (the
twoLEDS gooff). -
* The keyboard is automatically restored to its
normal functioning,
Program Change and Song Select
There are MIDI codes corresponding to each
of the 16 sounds from the "Orchestra" section,
the 16 "Custom" sounds
and the 16 basic
rhythms.
If the "Orchestra" sounds and the
rhythms
of the instrument connected to the
Keyboard are provided with ihe same codes,
any. selection made
on either of the instru-
ments automatically has the comesponding se-
lection made on the instrument connected,
- Program Change refers to the sounds. Il,
for example, the keyboard is using the Piano
sound from the "Orchestra" section and then
changes to Accordion, the connected instru-
ment receives the corresponding
MIDI code
and changes automatically from the sound ori-
ginally selected.
- Song Select refers to the rhythms,
If, for
example, the Waltz rhythm being used on this
keyboard
is changed
over
to the Samba
rhythm, the instrument connected changes au-
tomatically
to a new rhythm.
Note - The same sound or mythm changes
will be received by this keyboard as jong as the
second instrument is preset to send (hem,
Start/Stop for the rhythms
This instrument is provided with MIDI codes
which allow the two instruments connected to
start and to interrupt the rhythm in perfect
synchronization. lt alsa includes all the facilities
related to the rhythm section, which produce
ihe start/stop
for the rhythm.

Aux 16 timbres de la section "Orchestra", plus
las 16 timbres "Custom" et aux 16 rythmes
base correspondent autant de codes MIDI, Si
les timbres "Orchestra" et les rythmes-de |in-
strument relia au le clavier sont foumis des
méames codes, a chaque sélection sur un des
deux instruments

exemple sur ce clavier on joue avec be timbre

li changera te timbre sélectionné initialament.
Song Select signifie "sélaction morceau musi-
cal" et il se rapporte aux rythmes. Si par exem-
ple le rythme Waltz en fonction sur ce clavier est
substitué par le nthme Samba, linstrument
felié passe automatiquement 4 un deuxieme
rythme,
Nota - Ces changements de timbres ou de
ryihmes effactues sont requs par ce clavier

Start/Stop des rythmes
Ce clavier est fournl des codes MIDI qui per-
mettent aux deux instruments relies le com-
mencement eat linterruption du rthme en par-
fait synchronisme et il inclut aussi toutes les
| fonctions reliées 4 la section rythmique qui pro-
duisant le start/stop du rythme.

tion nur empfangen, wenn das zwelte Insiru-
ment auf Kanal 7 dbertragt.
§-Urspringlich antspricht die Notenzeichnung
der Sektionen "Bass" und "Auto Soloist" der
Auswahl dieser Tastatur. Diese Programmie-
rung kann durch Dricken der Tasten Ext Bass
und/oder Ext Auto Soloist gedndert werden.
Auf diese Art kOnnen "Bass" und "Auto Soloist"
- Gbertragen von einem zweilten Instrument -
durch Spielan auf dieser Tastatur, gehort wer-
den:
Bemerkung - Mit "Bass" und "Auto Soloist'
wird jegliche exteme Mono- Sektion auf kon-
ventionelle Art angezeigt.

6 - Wird auf dieser Tastatur zusammen
mit
einem Rhythmus gespiell, so wird das Tempo
(Clock), das aul der Tastatur vorgesehen ist. in
MIDI- Kode automatisch Gbertragen.
Falls man es vorzieht, das Zeitmai des Rhyth-
mus' durch das angeschlosseane Instrument zu
regulieren, muB die Taste Ext Clock (LED
angeschaltet) gedruckt werden.
7 - Um die Programmiering zu beencden, mub
von nevem die Taste Midi Mode (die beicien
LED schalten sich aus) gedriickt werden.
* Die Tastaturnimmt automatisch ihre normaten
Funktionen wieder auf.
Program Change und Song Select
Den 16 Klangfarben der Sektion "Orchestra" +
den 16 Klangfarben "Custom"
und den 16
Grundrhythmen entsprechen gleichviele MIDI-
Kodes. Wann die "Orchestra" Klangfarben und
dia Ahythmen des Instrumentes, das an die
Tastatur angeschiossen ist, dieselben Kodes
haben, entspricht jeder Wahl
auf einem der bei-
den Instrumente eine automatische Wahl auf
dem angeschiossanen Instrument.
- Program Change bedeéutet "Programmande-
rung" und bezieht sich auf die Klangfarben,
Wird auf dieser Tastatur zum Beispiel mit der
Klangfarbe
Piano
der Sektion
"Orchestra"
gespielt und man geht dann zu Accordion iber,
empfang! das angeschlossene Instrument den
enisprechenden MIDI- Kode und andert auto-
matisch die am Anfang ausgewahile Klangfar-
De.
- Song Select bedeutet "Auswahl eines Musik-
stiickes" und bezieht sich auf die Rhythmen,
Wird zum Baispial der Rhythmus Waltz auf die-
ser Tastatur
durch
den
Ahythmus
Samba
ersetzt, geht das angeschiossene Instrument
automatisch zu einem zweiten Ahythmus aber.
Bemerkung
- Dieselben
Anderungen
von
Klangfarbe oder Rhythmus konnen von dieser
Tastatur empfangen werden, wenn das zweite
Instrument diase Ubertragen kann.
Start/Stop der Rhythmen
Diese Tastatur verfiigt Uber die MIDI- Kodes,
die den beiden verbundenen
Instrumenten
ermdglichan, den Ahythmus in perfekter Syn-
chronie 2u beginnen und zu unterbrechen, und
umfaSt auch alle mit der Ahythmussektion ver-
bundenen
Eigenschaften, die start/stop des
Ahythmus' bestimmen.
