PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The electronic brake fl uid tester allows to easily and quickly test the brake fl uid water content. Water in
brake fl uid reduces its properties and signifi cantly aff ects the safety of driving a vehicle. The correct, re-
liable, and safe operation of the device depends on its proper use, therefore: Read the entire instruc-
tions manual before the fi rst use of the product and keep it for future reference. The supplier
shall not be held liable for any damage resulting from failure to observe the safety regulations and rec-
ommendations specifi ed in this instructions manual. Use of the product for purposes other than those
for which it was intended shall cause the loss of the user's rights to the guarantee and under warranty.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Keep your work environment safe. The workplace should be well lit. Make sure you have enough room
to move freely in the work area. Keep your work environment free from obstacles, grease, oil, rubbish
and other waste. The device is not resistant to fl ooding and is designed for indoor use. Do not expose
the device to water, precipitation or other liquids. Avoid contact with all hot engine parts, otherwise you
could get burned. Avoid contact with moving parts of the running engine. Avoid causing accidental
fi res or explosions. Do not smoke and do not keep open fi re sources near fuel, engine and battery.
Brake fl uid should not come into contact with skin. Wear latex or nitrile protective gloves. Brake fl uid
may damage the paint coat. Avoid splashing brake fl uid. The warnings, precautions and instructions
described above may not cover all possible conditions and situations which may occur. The operators
must understand that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into the equipment,
but they must provide them themselves.
PREPARING FOR OPERATION
Before starting work, charge the battery built into the device. Connect the plug of the supplied cable to
the socket located on the handle bottom.
Insert the second plug into the USB socket. Any USB socket with a current capacity of at least 500
mA can be used. It can be a socket built into a computer or a charger equipped with such a socket.
The device will start, the display will be illuminated and the battery charging will commence. The bat-
tery symbol on the display will be gradually fi lled. The end of the charging process will be indicated
by the complete fi lling of the battery symbol on the display. When charging is complete, disconnect
the device from the cable immediately. Leaving the device connected so as for charging will lead to
reduced battery performance and may also cause damage to the battery. Do not use the device when
charging the battery.
The fi lling of the battery indicator on the display will gradually decrease as the battery discharges.
When operating at low temperatures i.e. below 0
C, the battery performance will decrease. This is
O
a normal phenomenon. The battery performance will return to its normal level after the temperature
increase.
The measuring probe is located on the fl exible cable – this allows for performing measurements in such
a way that only the measuring probe is immersed in the fl uid and the device itself remains at a safe
distance from the brake fl uid tank and other components of the vehicle.
OPERATING THE DEVICE
Turn on the device by pressing the power switch marked I/O shortly. The display will be illuminated and
show the rectangular fi elds indicating the percentage water content in the brake fl uid. During the test,
a measuring ladder will be displayed next to the fi elds. The next steps of the ladder allow for reading
the measurement result.
Select the brake fl uid type with the button marked "MODE". The type marker will appear on the display.
Immerse the measuring probe in the brake fl uid so that both probe electrodes are fully submerged.
Ladder steps appearing next to the fi eld marked "<1% GOOD" indicate that the fl uid does not need to
be replaced. If the ladder steps appear next to the fi eld marked "2.5% ! 1.5%" it means a poor condition
of the brake fl uid and it should be replaced immediately. If the ladder steps appear next to the fi eld
marked ">4% STOP 3%" it means that the fl uid is not suitable for further operation and it should be
replaced before driving.
The button with the fl ashlight symbol allows for turning on and off the lamp which illuminates the area of
the device operation. The button with the speaker symbol allows for turning the acoustic signal on and
off , which will be activated when the tested fl uid contains too much water. The button with the padlock
symbol allows for keeping the measurement result on the screen even after removing the probe from
the fl uid. Thanks to this function you can easily show the measurement results to others. If any of the
modes described above has been activated, the symbol shown on the button will appear on the display.
The turned-on device will turn off automatically after a few minutes from the last pressing of any button.
This allows for the reduction of energy consumption and the extension of the operating time on a single
battery charge.
