"Help me by Somfy" smartphone app (Security section). Before installing, please read the safety instructions on
the previous page carefully.

To ensure optimum use of the connected video door phone, you must first ensure that you have:
• a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (incompatible with 5 GHz Wi-Fi)
• sufficient 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi range for where the indoor monitor will be installed. If this is not the case, we recommend that you
move the Internet hub closer to the monitor, or use a Wi-Fi repeater (not supplied).
Important: This connected video door phone is compatible with just 1 monitor.
PRESENTATION OF THE CONNECTED VIDEO DOOR PHONE
The V®500 PRO io Connect consists of an indoor monitor and a door station, to be connected by a 2-wire cable (not supplied).
It enables the user to manage home access from wherever they are:
• remotely via the "Somfy Protect" app: notifications with visitor photos on all smartphones connected to the account, real-
time communication, open the gate and/or pedestrian door and access the missed visits history.
• at home via the indoor monitor: preview visitors via the screen, real-time communication, open the gate and/or pedestrian
door, and access the missed visits history at any time. If the user has other Somfy io-homecontrol® products in range of the
monitor (gate, garage door, lighting, roller shutters, etc.), they will easily be able to control them via the 5 dedicated channels,
and run TaHoma scenarios (box required).
