6.1.10 Installing the 8622/68-0000 Inside Installation Set

Remove the four hexagon screws from the front part of the Ex p controller's pneumatic
adaptor.

Remove the front part and dispose of it properly.

Screw two hose connections (26) into the internal threads of the remaining adaptor
ES
(centre and right-hand side). For products which are procured by the customer and are not
supplied by R. STAHL, ensure that the G 1/4" threads are not longer than 7 mm.

Screw in the cover with the drilled hole (25) into the thread (MINA connection,

left-hand side).

DK
Drill a dia. 13.5 to 14 mm hole in the bottom of the Ex p cabinet.

Insert the reference connection, including filter cover (27), through the drilled hole.

▶
Connect the hose (max. length 3 m, can be shortened as much as required) to create the

pneumatic connection between the Ex p controller (AT connection, centre) and the
PT
reference connection.
▶
Connect the hose (max. length 3 m, can be shortened as much as required) to create the
GR
pneumatic connection between the Ex p controller (DFFA connection, right-hand side) and
PL
the Ex p pressure monitor.
