Technical check
Before you depart, make sure the the batteries are
sufficiently charged. Check if the mirrors are set
correctly. Please also check the light, the blinkers and
the horn. It is important to have the brakes checked
regularly. You will find more information on this under
the "Brakes" section. Also check regularly whether the
tyres have the optimal pressure in order to be able to
reach the highest range.
Outfit check
The helmet is mandatory, proper footwear too. Flip-
flops and high heels don't work at all. But you will look
fantastic anyway.
Weight check
Schwalbe pilots don't stay alone for long. However,
the total weight should not exceed 150 kg. So you don't
necessarily have to take a heavyweight boxer on your
pillion.
Street check
Your Schwalbe is made for the asphalt. On unpaved
roads you should drive especially carefully, just like on
wet road surfaces. No matter where you are on the road,
please always keep both hands on the handlebars. Life is
too beautiful to risk it for a selfie.
Dosage check
Before you park your Schwalbe, take a quick look at the
charging indicator and check if it needs to be plugged
in. It is ideal to plug in when your battery is at least 20%
charged. You can read how easy it is to charge in the
section "09 The charging".
