Choose RGB if you also want an RGB signal to be relayed via the normal SCART output.
Choose S- Vid eo to have the video signal emitted at the S-Video output.
Use the component output to attain the best picture quality and choose Y U V if this format is sup-
ported by your TV set.
Res olution : Select the resolution appropriate to your HDMI or DVI television device, to implement
the progressive scanning function.
NOTICE!
Pay attention to the fact that you will have to select a setting with 5 0 H z for the PA L TV
standard and a setting with 60 Hz for the NTSC TV standard.
Select the 5 76 i or 7 20p resolution for a connection through the Y P b Pr component connec-
tions.
Select 4 80 i , 5 76 i or 1 080 i (i = "interlaced"), if you are not using the HDMI connection.
You can also reset the resolutions with the
Video Quality Setup : It is not normally necessary to make settings here. However, you have the
possibility of making comprehensive image settings in this Menu. You can set the image sharpness,
brightness, contrast, gamma, colour and Luma delay in this way.
HD MI Setup : Switch the HDMI connection on or off in this Menu. The connection must be acti-
vated if you have connected the television device with an HDMI cable.
