Installing the measuring device

Danger due to improper process sealing!

Ensure that the seals are clean and undamaged.
‣
Ensure that the correct sealing material has been used (e.g. Teflon tape for NPT ¾").
‣
Secure the seals correctly.

Open the screw connection on the
eyelet of the safety chain.

Hook the eyelet into the bracket
on the transmitter. The chain
must be taut!
1.
Ensure that the direction of the arrow on
the sensor matches the flow direction of
the medium. Ensure the insertion depth
and alignment are correct.
2.
Tighten coupling nut fingertight.
3.
Tighten coupling nut with x turns (1).
4.
Mounting for the first time:
Tighten coupling nut with 1 ¼ turns (1).
Repeat mounting:
Tighten coupling nut with 1 turn (1).
If strong vibrations can be expected, tighten
the coupling nut with 1½ turns (1) when
mounting for the first time.
