The WIKA WUS-Series pressure switch is designed to operate with an unregulated input voltage of
10 V < U < 30 V DC.

The electrical connection is made up of a semi-conductor switch (transistor) for DC applications which
has been coupled with the measuring circuit.
The switch must not be used for loads of 230 VAC or 110 VAC. The maximum allowed voltage for the
switch is 30 VDC (recommended voltage 24 VDC).

The ohmic load may be connected or disconnected by means of the switching output of the pressure
switch.

WIKA pressure switch require no maintenance!
6.1 Board Exchange
The pressure switch can be converted into a transducer by changing the electronic system
amplification. In this case the user can choose from the output signals
4 ... 20 mA / 0.1 ... 5.1 V / 0.1 ... 10.1 V (see Chapter 6.3, Spare Parts).
For board exchange, vent the pressure switch to zero (0)PSI. Remove all power to the pressure switch.
Protect the pressure switch from voltage, or static discharge, to prevent possible damage.
Disassembly
1. Protect the PCB and other electrical devices from voltage, or static
discharge, to prevent possible damage. Ensure you have a ground
strap attached to your body.
2. Remove the locking ring, on the top of pressure switch.
3. Carefully pull the assembly out of the pressure switch housing, as far
as the internal connector cable will allow. Remove the four (4) pin
connector from the universal electronic board assembly.
4. Grip the copper EMC shield on the edge with suitable pair of sharp
nosed pliers.
5. While firmly holding the transducer body, using a pliers pull the
universal electronic board assembly straight out of the pressure switch
body assembly.
