Air flow regulation
Commissioning the burner - Checks:
· Power supply is available.
· The boiler switch is functional
The burner is equipped with a
corresponding nozzle, pre-set in the
factor, and can be operated without any
problems. An initial combustion test
must then be carried out by a qualified
professional. Emissions should lie
between 0 and 1 and the CO
between 12 and 13%.

The flue gas temperature should be
observed during burner operation in
Stage 1 to avoid falling short of the
dew point.

Air flap setting stage 1
· To preset the position of the air flaps,
observe the setting values in table
page 21.
· Remove the 4P plug and the burner
moves to stage 1.
· Increase the air volume: Hold cam
wheel 3 so that the micro-switch
stays depressed.
· Turn the centre line of the air damper
(pos. 2) to the higher scale value
using spanner SW10.
· Insert and remove the 4 P plug
temporarily. The air flap motor will
assume the low load position.
· Reduce the air volume: Set cam
wheel 3 to the lower value and the air
damper motor will coast
automatically.
The pressure-side air speed is
controlled by turning the setting screw

Air flap and air intake connection
After removing the burner plate (loosen
the 6 fixing screws (pos. 5) by turning
for approx. 5-6 revolutions), the air flap
and air intake connection are freely
accessible.
The closing pressure of the air flap is
supported by a restoring spring (pos.
8). According to the system conditions
(extremely low pressure in the furnace,
rotated mounting position of the
burner), can be hung in one of the
three eyes and thus the closing force
adjusted.

In the normal position (N), the incoming
air connection (pos. 7) guarantees a
maximum fan compression. According
to the system conditions (extremely low
pressure in the furnace and low output),
the compression can be reduced by
adjusting the incoming air connection.
