Fitting the burner flange
The burner flange (pos. 1) is equipped
with lateral slots (pos.2) and may be
used for a slot diameter between
Ø 150 - 180 mm. The dimensions
comply with DIN 4789. The burner
flange seal and the fixing screws are
included in the burner packaging.
The mounting depth of the mixer unit
can be adapted according to the
combustion chamber dimensions
thanks to the adjustable burner pipe
(pos. 3) in the burner flange.
The burner is usually installed with the
fan wheel at the bottom. The burner
can also be fitted with the fan wheel
facing upwards.

Burner installation depth and
brickwork
On heaters without a cooled front wall,
unless the boiler manufacturer indicates
otherwise, brickwork 5 as shown in the
illustration is required. The brickwork
must not protrude beyond the leading
edge of the flame tube, and should
have a maximum conical angle of 60°.
The space between the brickwork and
burner should be filled with an elastic,
non-inflammable insulation material 6.
On boilers with reverse firing, minimum
insertion depth A of the burner tube
should be observed as per the
instructions of the boiler manufacturer.

Install the burner and prevent fumes
escaping
The burner is secured via the burner
flange (pos. 1) and the aperture sealed
tight. To do this:
· Raise the boiler slightly
· Tighten the terminal screw (pos.4) on
the burner flange.
