Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
 Please read this manual carefully and use the device only according
to this manual.
 Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the
reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the device, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
 Make sure the power mains voltage in your area corresponds to operating
voltage stated on the type label.
 Always wear safety goggles. The lenses of your normal spectacles are
only impact resistant. They are NOT safety goggles.
 Avoid unintended starting. Ensure that the switch is turned off before
connecting to the power supply.
 This unit is not suitable for outdoor operation.
 Never use the unit grinder in an explosive or flammable environment. Normal
sparking of the motor can ignite flammable materials.
 After operating the motor for maximum 3 minutes, allow the unit to cool
down for 7 minutes.
 When not in use, before cleaning or maintaining the unit, pull the power plug.
 Make sure the ventilation openings are free.
 Do not operate the unit with damaged power cord or plug.
 Check the grinding stone before each use. Do not operate the unit if the
grinding stone is broken, cracked or otherwise damaged. Handle the grinding
stones carefully.
 Make sure the grinding stone is properly mounted and fastened before unit it.
Place the unit in a safe place and allow it to run idly for 30 seconds. Stop it
immediately if considerable oscillations occur.
 Should the unit become damaged do not use it any further and have it
repaired by a professional or contact our customer service. Do not
disassemble the unit or try repairing it yourself.
