When transporting and handling the device between the warehouse and the destination, take into account the
occupational health and safety principles for manual transport operations which apply in the country where the device
will be used.

Avoid situations where the device halts during use due to excessive loading. This may result in overheating of the drive
elements and device damage.

Do not touch any articulated parts or accessories, unless the device has been disconnected from a power source.

Do not leave this appliance unattended while it is in use.
m) Clean the device regularly to prevent stubborn grime from accumulating.

It is forbidden to interfere with the structure of the device in order to change its parameters or construction.

Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat.

When working with the device, you are recommended to exercise extreme caution to avoid serious injury or amputation
of limb fragments.

Do not use power tools for applications other than those specified in the instructions (other than that for which it was
designed).

Use your tool at lower input load than specified on the nameplate to increase working efficiency and decrease wear out.

Do not wipe plastic parts with solvent. Solvents such as gasoline, thinner, benzene, alcohol, ammonia and oil may
damage and crack plastic parts. Do not wipe them with such solvents. Wipe plastic parts with a soft cloth lightly
dampened with soapy water.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device and its protective features, and despite the use of additional
elements protecting the operator, there is still a slight risk of accident or injury when using the device. Stay alert
and use common sense when using the device.
3. Use guidelines
The band saw is designed to perform longitudinal and cross cuts on timber or wood-type materials. To cut round materials
you must use suitable holding devices. The equipment is to be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any other use is deemed
to be a case of misuse. The machine is to be operated only with suitable saw blades. To use the machine properly you must
also observe the safety regulations, the assembly instructions and the operating instructions to be found in this manual. All
persons who use and service the machine have to be acquainted with this manual and must be informed about the
machine's potential hazards. It is also imperative to observe the accident prevention regulations in force in your area. The
same applies for the general rules of occupational health and safety.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from unintended use of the device.
