2. Press [MENU] to enter setting, firstΝlineΝisΝ"VηX", next line shows the status.
3. Press [UP] or [DOWN] to select between OFF/ 1/ 2/ 3/ 4/ 5.
4. Press [MENU] to confirm the settings and return,or press [*/BAND] to exit without changes.
The voice threshold (sensitivity) for VOX can be set by this function.The transmit function is turned
on when voice is higher than voice threshold.
Note: 5 = High Sensitivity ,used in low noise condition.
1 = Low Sensitivity ,used in high noise condition.
Note: The VOX level is displayed as 1/ 2/ 3/ 4/ or 5 on the LCD.

3.11 Emergency Call

Channel 01 is reserved as an emergency call channel.
1. Press [MENU], then press [UP] orΝ[τηWζ]ΝtoΝselectΝ"σρδδ"έ
2. Press [MENU] to enter into setting. FirstΝlineΝisΝ"σρδδ", next line shows the status.
3. Press [UP] or [DOWN] to select between 01 or CURREN (this means the currently used
frequency. We recommend that You use the current frequency as emergency channel, it may
be important for using 1750 Hz repeater access, see also 4.4)
4. Press [MENU] to confirm the storing and return, or press [*/BAND] to exit without change.
