Dear customer,
Congratulations on your choice of the Power Peak® C8 EQ-BID high-performance battery
charger from the robbe range. This is a compact charger with battery management and
equalizer for use with 230 V AC or 12 V DC.
The Power Peak® C8 EQ-BID is simple to use, but the operation of a high-quality auto-
matic charger of this type does require some knowledge on the part of the user. Reading
these instructions will ensure that you are quickly able to exploit the facilities of the device
to the full.
We wish you many hours of success and pleasure using your new battery charger.
Safety notes
At the end of the operating instructions you will find comprehensive safety notes
concerning the correct handling of battery chargers and the various battery types.
We have also assembled useful supplementary general notes regarding the indivi-
dual battery types in the chapter entitled "A brief guide to battery types".
It is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL that you read through these instructions and the
safety notes before you use the charger for the first time.
Mishandling rechargeable batteries and battery chargers can cause batteries to
catch fire and even explode.
The charger's menu language is set as described in chapter 9 on page 13.
