Safety instructions
For immunocompromised persons and babies, boiling the water is generally
recommended. If using a descaling filter, the water in the filter is enriched
with sodium, so it can cause issues for sodium-sensitive people and babies.
If necessary, consult a doctor or BLANCO Customer Service.
The cooling circuit of the appliance contains the CFC-free refrigerant isobutane
(R600a). This is a natural gas with no environmentally harmful effects. However, it is
flammable and may escape if the cooling circuit is damaged. Make sure that no parts
of the cooling circuit are damaged! If the cooling circuit ever becomes damaged,
avoid naked flames and sources of ignition, and ensure good ventilation.
Only original BLANCO CO
used in the unit. When screwing in the cylinders, always make sure that they are
inserted tightly. After inserting, twist a little more to be on the safe side. When
screwing in, there may be a slight hissing sound and small amounts of CO2 may
escape, which is not a problem.
The cylinders are pressurised. Protect them from sunlight, heat sources and
overheating.
Store the CO2 cylinders in an environment in which they cannot heat up. The system
must be installed in a room at least 5 m² in size. If the ceiling height of the room is
lower than 2 m, the necessary room size increases.
CAUTION! Inhaling CO2 may result in danger to life! Do not modify the system or the
CO2 cylinders. If CO2 escapes into the room, ventilate it and leave it for a while. If it
does escape, the entire amount within the system does not constitute life-threatening
concentrations in the air. If you need to transport the appliance, the CO2 cylinder must
be uninstalled first!
Do not use osmosis water or highly filtered water in the system. This can lead to
problems with the fill level control.
The holder for the spray head contains a strong magnet. Patients with a
pacemaker should maintain a distance of at least 15 cm.
