Weighing, carrying out diagnostics
• Press the 'ON' button. In the display, '8888' appears (fig. 1), then '0.0' (fig. 2).
• Press the
or
buttons several times to select the memory location in which your
basic personal data is saved and confirm by pressing 'SET'. The last measuring re-
sults are displayed in sequence until '0.0' appears.
• If no measurements have been saved, '----' is displayed.
• Step onto the scale barefoot and make sure that you are standing still with your
weight evenly distributed between both legs on the stainless steel electrodes.
Note: Your feet, legs, calves and thighs must not touch each other. Otherwise
the measurement cannot be performed correctly.The scale immediately begins
to measure your weight.
The scale begins to take measurements straight away. First, the weight is displayed.
Whilst the other parameters are being measured, an 'arrow at the bottom edge of the
LCD' appears (fig. 3).
Your measured weight is displayed shortly after this (Fig 4).
The following appears:
1. Display:
a. Weight in kg (lb, st)
b. Body fat in % with interpretation BF
c. Body water in %
2. Display:
a. Muscle percentage in %
b. Bone mass in kg
c. Active metabolic rate in kcal
Switching off the scale
The scale automatically switches off after approx. 10 seconds.
Press the 'ON' button to switch off manually.
8. Evaluation of results
Body fat percentage
Body fat content is evaluated at the bottom of the display. The following body fat percentages are guide
values (contact your physician for further information).
