Troubleshooting table

Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself. You can put your own and future
users" lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to carry out this repair
work.
Problem
Appliance will not
start, display is off.
Door does not close
properly.
Cooking
compartment light
does not illuminate.
The turntable does
not turn or does not
turn properly.
Scratching, grinding
sounds in the
cooking chamber.
Exploding, popping
sounds in the
cooking chamber.
Other noises or
flashes of light in the
cooking chamber.
The dish is cooked
unevenly.
Possible cause
No electricity to socket.
Mains plug is loose.
Foreign bodies on the door seal
faces.
Door is warped or door latch is
defective.
Bulb defective.
The turntable is not correctly
positioned on the drive motor.
The cooking chamber floor is dirty.
Turntable does not rotate properly.
The food dish is either too large or
is positioned incorrectly.
The dish is being cooked and/or
defrosted with too much power, and
will burst open.
Sparks – metal objects in the
cooking chamber!
The dish was not sufficiently
rotated or stirred.

Check by connecting another
appliance.
Check the tightness of the
mains plug.
Clean the door seal faces
thoroughly.
Do not use the appliance!

Position the turntable correctly.
Clean the cooking chamber floor
thoroughly.
Insert the turntable correctly
The container may not protrude
over the edge of the turntable.
Cancel the setting and reselect
a lower power level.
Pull out the mains plug or isolate
the fuse immediately. Remove
metal parts.
Stir or rotate the food dish, and
allow it to heat up a little more.
