Before first Use
Familiarise yourself with the unit before the first use. Note the safety

instructions and operate the unit only according to this manual.
Remove all packaging from the unit and the accessories.

Dispose of the packaging materials carefully; the plastic bags may become a

deadly toy for children.
Then clean all components as described in the chapter "Cleaning".

Operation
Plug the power plug into a suitable wall socket. Place the coffee grinder on a
level surface. The coffee grinder is now ready to use.
Grinding Coffee/Espresso
1. Unlock the transparent lid by turning counter-clockwise and lift it off the
unit.
2. Put the desired quantity, but no more than 60 g, of grist into the container.
On the next page a few guidelines are printed, which will be of some help to
find the right dosing. Keep in mind that different kinds of coffee, different
preparations, different cup sizes and your own taste will change the given
values. With some experimenting you quickly will determine what suits best
for you.
3. Put the lid back on and lock it in place by turning clockwise. Observe the
symbols on the lid and on the machine. Only when the lid is completely
closed the On/Off button can be operated.
4. Press and hold the On/Off button. The machine starts grinding. Do not
operate the grinder continuously for more than 30 seconds and allow cooling
down for at least one minute before restarting.
5. Do not remove the lid before the blades are at complete standstill.
6. Empty the freshly ground coffee made and immediately further process it to
preserve the full flavour.
7. If you do not use the unit for some time, please pull the power plug.
Cleaning and Storing
Pull the power plug before cleaning the unit. Do not immerse the unit in

liquids of any kind.
Only use a dry cloth to clean the housing of the unit.

