Servicing and maintenance
Observe the following safety instructions without fail before cleaning or servicing the
device:
Unplug the plug-in power unit from the mains socket-outlet!
Only a specialist who is familiar with the hazards or relevant regu-
lations may carry out repairs or open the device.
All connected devices must be disconnected from the mains before servicing or
repairs.
The device is service-free. Therefore, never open it. The warranty will lapse if the
device has been opened.
The outside of the device should be cleaned only with a clean dry cloth or a brush.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions which could damage
the housing or impair operation.
Check the technical safety of the device regularly, e.g. for damage to the housing or
the power cable etc.
If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, take the
device out of operation immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
It must be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if
• the device shows signs of visible damage,
• the device does not work any longer
• after a longer period of storage under unfavourable conditions or
• following heavy stress during transportation.
Disposal
Once the product becomes unusable, dispose of it in accordance with the valid
statutory regulations.

Safety instructions and danger warnings
The guarantee will lapse in the case of damage caused by failure
to comply with these operating instructions! We shall not be liable
for any consequent loss!
We do not take any responsibility for personal injury or damage to
property caused by incorrect handling or non-observance of the
safety instructions! The guarantee will lapse in such cases.
For safety and licensing reasons (CE), any unauthorised conversion
and/or modification of the system is not permitted.
The device may not be exposed to extreme temperatures (<+10°C /
>+35°C).
The device may not be exposed to strong vibrations or strong mecha-
nical stress.
The device may not be exposed to any high level of dampness such
as, for example, dripping or spray water.
The device is constructed according to protection class II.
The system is only licensed for operation in closed rooms.
Do not place vessels such as glasses, vases etc. on the device. Never
pour out any liquids above the device. Never place small objects, e.g.
coins, paper clips etc., on the device as these could fall into the inside
of the device. There is the risk of fire or of a fatal electric shock! If any
liquid penetrates into the device, pull out the mains plug immediately
and contact a specialist.
