Please note the following safety notes to avoid
malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
 This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes
on operating the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it
is handed over to a third party!
 Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly.
Plastic bags etc. can become a dangerous toy for children.
 The beach umbrella protects against direct UV radiation. For
complete protection, even against indirect UV radiation, also
use suitable cosmetic sunscreens.
 In case of rain and wind/storm, close the beach umbrella and
secure it against accidental unfolding with a strap or similar.
 Never leave the opened umbrella unattended.
 Never place grills or heaters under the beach umbrella and
never ignite open fire under or near the beach umbrella. There
is a risk of fire.
 Keep uninvolved persons away from the working area while
folding out the beach umbrella.
 The beach umbrella is not a toy. Keep children away from the
beach umbrella. Do not allow children or persons in need of
supervision to use the beach umbrella.
 Do not modify the beach umbrella in any way.
 Use the beach umbrella on a solid level ground. Do not use the
beach umbrella on slopped surfaces (e.g. hillside).
 Make sure the beach umbrella is assembled properly before
using the unit. Do not use the beach umbrella if it has been
damaged.
 Do not overload the beach umbrella, e.g. by hanging heavy
objects on the stretchers of the umbrella.
 Do not drop the beach umbrella and do not throw it.
 When folding down the beach umbrella make sure not to jam
your hands.
