2. User instructions
2.1 Important notes
Before commissioning, connecting and using
Bosch products, it is essential to go through the
operating instructions/manual – and the safety
instructions, in particular – with great care. By
doing so you can eradicate any uncertainties in
handling Bosch test products and thus associa-
ted safety risks upfront; something which is in
the interests of your own safety and will ultima-
tely help avoid damage to the device. Whoever
passes a Bosch product onto another person
must hand over, in addition to the operating
instructions, the safety instructions and informa-
tion on the intended use to this person as well.
Warranty
No modifications may be carried out on our
products. Our products may only be used with
genuine accesso ries and genuine spare parts.
Otherwise, all warranty claims will be rendered
null and void.

Safety information

CAUTION – Risk of injury from cont-
act of AdBlue with eyes or skin!

In the event of contact with the
eyes, rinse immediately with plenty
of clean water and seek medical
assistance.
¶
If clothing items soaked in AdBlue
come into contact with the skin, re-
move these items immediately and
thoroughly wash the affected parts
of the skin with plenty of water.
¶
If skin irritation occurs, seek medi-
cal assistance immediately.
¶
If AdBlue solution is swallowed,
seek medical assistance immedi-
ately.

Target group

The product may be used only by skilled and
instructed personnel. Apprentices or personnel
undergoing training, induction or instruction
may use the product only under the continual
supervision of an experienced person.
Children must be observed to ensure that they
do not play with the product.
2.4 Information on the handling of
AdBlue
¶
Observe safety data sheet for AdBlue.
AdBlue is a non-toxic, water-clear synthetically
manufactured solution which is not classified as
a hazardous substance or material and belongs
to water hazard class 1, the lowest category.
In terms of its chemical make up, AdBlue is an
aqueous, 32.5% urea solution of the highest
purity, whose consistent quality is ensured by
standardization (ISO 22241).
