As there is manufacturing residue or oil remained in the toaster or heat element, it usually will emit the
odor for the first use. It is normal and will not occur after several times use, for the first use it is suggested
to operate according to the below steps, except without bread. Then let the toaster cool down and begin
toasting the first slice. For the coffee maker, check that the accessories are complete and the unit are not
damaged. Then do not place into coffee ground, brew clean water up to MAX marker according to the steps
below in the coffee maker operation for one or two times, then pour out. Clean carafe, carafe lid, funnel,
filter thoroughly with warm water. If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you
clean your kettle before use by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water.
1. Put bread slice into the bread slot, it can be inserted two slices at most every time. If only toasting
one side or irregular bread, the bread must be put on the toast rack, only toast one piece every
time. The toast rack is in the bread slot, when toasting on the toast rack, press the Release rack
button and the rack will spring up. Then put the bread on the toast rack.
2. Note: Make sure the crumb tray is completely positioned in place before using.
3. When not use the toast rack, lift the Release rack button and the rack will be fold into the bread
slot.
4. Plug the power cord into the outlet.
5. Set color control knob to your desired color. There is 6-position level, the lowest is set white and
the highest is dark. The "4" position of control knob can toast the bread to golden color.
Note: 1. Toasting color for one slice is darker than that for double bread at the same level.
2. If toasted continuously, toasting color for the latter bread is darker than that for the
anterior bread at the same level.
6. Press carriage handle down vertically until it is positioned in place, the lamp on the cancel button
will be illuminated and toast will begin at once.
