Changing the Battery
If the display becomes faint, the battery must be replaced.
1. To open the battery compartment, push
the compartment lid away from the hous-
ing.
2. Remove the spent battery and insert a
fresh one of the type (1.5 V AG13); ob-
serve right polarity. The +pole has to face
upwards.
3. Close the battery compartment lid by
sliding the lid back into place, until the lid fits with the housing.
Always replace a spent battery as soon as possible. A leaking
battery can cause damage to the electronic circuits.
Cleaning and Storing
Clean the surface of the unit only with a lightly moistened cloth
and completely dry before using the unit again.
Never use aggressive chemicals or solvents for cleaning and
always store the unit in a dry place.
