 The distance holders each have a width of approx. 3.5 mm. There are 6
distance holders available. Please note that the groove width is determined by
the sum of the distance holders plus the width of the cuttings discs (2 mm
each).
 Finally assemble all parts of the machine in reverse order. Pay attention to the
tightness of the additional handle bar (10) and mounting screws.

General Advice for Operation

Only use the machine for dry cutting in stone.
Always use the additional handle bar (10). The thread of the additional handle bar
has a left turn cut to ensure that it does not loosen unintentionally during
operation.
1. Before starting to work check your working area for hidden electric lines, gas
and water pipes with a metal detector.
2. Select the desired cutting depth. For this purpose loosen the depth control
wheel (6) slightly and adjust the supporting table (5) to the desired depth.
Setup the cutting width by adding the appropriate amount of distance holders
between the cutting discs (see chapter Replacement and Set-up of Cutting
Discs).
3. Hold the machine with both hands and switch
it on. Set the machine with the front edge of
the supporting table touching the masonry
and lower it slowly until the support lies flat on
the masonry.
4. Cut the groove by pulling the machine slowly
in the indicated direction.
Attention! Only perform straight cuts. It is not
possible to cut in curves.
5. At the end of the groove, first lift the machine
out and then switch off.
6. Allow the machine to come to a halt before
putting down. The cutting discs become very
hot during use. Do not touch them until they
are cooled down completely.
7. Use the supplied chisel to break out the remaining strip between the grooves
in the masonry.
