1. Turn the grass and hedge shear upside down and press the
clip of the blade cover (step 1) downwards.
2. Hold the blade cover firmly and
pull the cover forwards to
remove from the grass and
hedge shear (step 2).
Please observe the following hints when changing the blades.
3. After taking off the blade you will see the gear wheels. Make
sure that no dirt, grass leaves get in the gears. Important!
Remove any dirt around the gears.

4. Turn the gear wheel so that the middle line of the marking rib
on the gear wheel is exactly positioned downwards or up-
wards, as shown in the upper figure.
