3. Signs and symbols

A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. dan-
ger of an electric shock.
The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates to you particular risks in
handling, operating and control.
The "hand" symbol indicates special advice and operating information.

4. Safety Information

The guarantee will be void if damage is incurred resulting from
non-compliance with these operating instructions! We do not
assume any responsibility for consequential damage!
We do not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury
caused by improper handling or non-compliance with the safety
instructions. In such cases the warranty/guarantee is void.
• The unauthorized opening, conversion and/or modification of the pro-
duct is inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. The product
does only emit relatively weak radio signals. These radio signals could,
however, lead to malfunctions in life-supporting systems. The same may
possibly apply to other areas.
• Power is supplied by the included mains adapter (12V/DC). The wire-
less alarm system also has a battery compartment for 4 x 1.5 V micro
batteries (type AAA) to keep short-term operation up in case of power
outage.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of reach of children. Par-
ticular care must therefore be exercised if children are around.
• The wireless alarm system and the mains adapter are intended for dry
indoor use only.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dan-
gerous playing material for children.
