7. Installation and connection

The outdoor unit is installed in an area protected from rainfall (e.g.
under a porch) with the supplied wall holding, the interior unit in a dry
interior room (e.g. next to the entrance).
The indoor unit has a mounting foot (9) on the rear so that you can
install it instead it wall mounting in a suitable position, for instance.
A two-wire cable (included in the scope of delivery) is sufficient to
connect the two devices. An output for direct connection to a 12V
door opener is available the on outdoor unit.
Select the installation unit or the place of mounting for the indoor unit
as desired so that all family members can view the screen.
The outdoor unit with the camera must be installed in a position
where the visitor will probably stand so that the camera can display
his face.

You should test the intercom at the future place of installation, before you drill the holes for fixed
installation.
Ensure that you do not damage any cables or lines when drilling or tightening the two frames. The same
applies for laying the connection cables and any necessary masonry
Do not lay the connection cable between the outdoor and indoor units directly next to other power cables
or lines; do not lay it on or close to metal surfaces. This may have a negative effect on the transmission.
Do not install the outdoor/indoor unit on metal surfaces or close to electric/electronic devices. This can
also result in a deterioration of the transmission quality.
An extricable plastic strip (14) on the rear of the outdoor unit (15) is available for the nameplate.
