3. Explanation of symbols
A
n exclamation mark in a triangle indicates
important instructions in these operating instruc-
tions which have to be observed at all times.
The "hand" symbol can be found when you are
to be given particular tips and instructions for
operation.

12. Display
a) General
Dispose of products which have become unusable in accor-
dance with the valid statutory provisions.
b) Disposal of batteries/accumulators
You are required by law to return all spent batteries. Dis-
posing of spent batteries in the household waste is pro-
hibited!
Batteries / accumulators that contain haz-
ardous substances are marked with the
symbols on the side. These symbols indi-
cate that it is prohibited to dispose of these
batteries in the household waste. The
names for the relevant heavy metals
are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb =
lead.
You can return spent batteries or accumu-
lator which can no longer be charged free
of charge to the collection points in your
community, our outlets or everywhere else
where batteries or accumulators are sold.!
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and contribute to the
protection of our environment!
