Tips for the Handling of CDs:
• Only touch CDs at the edges. Thus, you avoid fingerprints and contaminatio
on the CD surface.
• Always touch the CDs with clean hands.
• If nevertheless a CD is contaminated, please clean it with a soft and lint-free
cloth from the middle to the edge. Avoid circular motion when cleaning the
CDs. Do not use any solvents for cleaning.
• In case of persistent contamination use a customary CD cleaner (no record
cleaner) and observe the operating instructions.
• Do not write on your CDs and do not put adhesive labels etc. onto them.
• Store your CDs in the enclosed CD cases after playing them.
• Do not expose CDs to direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
Disposal
Dispose of the unserviceable device according to the relevant statutory requirements.
Environmental note!
The user is legally obliged (old battery regulation) to return all used batteries (from round
cells to lead storage batteries) to a specialist dealer's shop where there are special facil-
ities (collecting boxes). It is forbidden to dispose of batteries in the garbage bin or litter.
You can return your used batteries and storage batteries free of charge either to our
subsidiaries or to our central office in Hirschau or reusable-waste facilities which are
obliged to take back old batteries.

With this system you acquired a state-of-the-art and fail-safe product.
However, failures or problems might occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe how to eliminate possible failures:

An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important notes in the operating manual.
Please read the whole operating manual before putting the product into operation. The
manual contains important information for proper operation.
Any claims for guarantee will become invalid in the event of damage that results from the
non-observance of the operating manual. We do not accept responsibility for such
damage. Nor do we accept responsibility for damage to property or for personal injuries
caused by improper use or non-observance of safety instructions. Guarantees will not be
accepted in any such case.
The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of
safety and approval reasons (CE).
Please ensure proper commissioning of the product. Always observe the operating manual.
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations, humidity or strong
mechanical stress.
The design corresponds to safety class II.
As current source, only use a 230 V/50 Hz (10/16 A) mains socket. Never try to operate the pro-
duct at a different voltage!
The system is only approved for operation in closed rooms.
Never operate the product unattended.
Make sure that all electric connections, connecting cables between the device and any extension cables are
in accordance with the rules and the operating manual.
Always contact a specialist to replace damaged connecting cables!
Keep electric devices out of reach of children! Be especially careful if children are present.
Children might try to put objects into the device. There is danger of a life-threatening electric
shock!
Do not place any containers, e.g. flowerpots onto the device. Do not spill liquids over the devi-
ce. There is imminent danger of fire or life-threatening electric shock! If nevertheless liquids get
into the device, immediately switch off the device, separate it from the mains voltage and
contact a specialist.
Never touch the mains plug with wet hands when connecting it with or disconnecting it from
the mains socket!
Never pull at the mains cable to unplug it; always take the gripping surfaces provided at the
plug to pull the plug out of the mains socket.
Do not leave packaging material lying around. Plastic film or bags, polystyrene parts etc. might become a
dangerous toy for children!
