Operation

After connection and re-checking the cabling, you can put the power amplifier into
operation for the first time.
Adjust the suitable sensitivity range for
the audio source with the switch SENSI-
TIVITY (16).
Turn the volume control (7 and 8) to
minimum (all the way to the left).
Put the switch MODE (11) to the right
position for your configuration.
Switch on the limiter with the LIMIT1
and LIMIT2 (2) switches, if desired.
Put the switch GROUND LIFT (17) to the
position "GROUND".
Turn on your audio source (mixing table,
equalizer etc.) and the appliances con-
nected to them.
Turn on the power amplifier with the
mains switch (1).
Adjust the volume of the audio source
to approx. 75% of the maximum vol-
ume respectively the maximum undis-
torted level (visible on appliances with
recording level indicator on the marking
"0 db").
Now adjust the maximum required
volume with the volume controllers (7
and 8).

The ranges 0 dbm +4 db and + 10 db
are available.
Refer to the operating manual of the
audio source to find out, which output
voltage it provides.
The appliance is still off.
STEREO: Stereo Operation
BRIDGE: Mono Bridge Operation
PARALLEL: Parallel Operation
The earth of the power amplifier is con-
nected to the grounding of the housing
in this position.
The volume control of the audio source
is on minimum.
Set the switch to ON.
After a short cut-in delay, (LEDs PRO-
TECTION (3) flash) the appliance turns
on.
This setting results in a high s/n ratio
and provides the best audio quality.

Mode stéréo
L´amplificateur fonctionne dans ce mode avec deux canaux indépendants.
Chaque canal dispose de sa propre entrée (9 ou 10), de son bouton de réglage du
volume (7) ou (8), de son affichage DEL (5), de son limiteur (2), de son circuit de pro-
tection, de sa branche d´amplificateur de puissance mais aussi de sa propre sortie
pour haut-parleurs (12 et 13).
Placez l´interrupteur MODE (11) dans la
position « STEREO ».
Reliez les sorties de votre source audio
(mélangeur, égaliseur entre autres) aux
entrées correspondantes de l´amplifica-
teur de puissance.
Connectez le haut-parleur gauche aux
raccordements pour haut-parleurs du
canal A.
Connectez le canal gauche à la douille
entrée XLR (9) CH-A IN ou à la douille
entrée jack (10) CH-A IN.
Reliez le canal droit à douille entrée XLR
(9) CH-B IN ou à la douille entrée jack
(10) CH-B IN.
Connectez le pôle positif du haut-par-
leur gauche à la borne rouge de sortie
du haut-parleur indiquée par « CH-A
OUT + » (13) et le pôle négatif du haut-
parleur gauche à la borne noire de sortie
du haut-parleur indiquée par « CH-A
OUT – » (13).
En cas d´utilisation des raccordements
SPEAKON, connectez le câble SPEA-
KON du haut-parleur gauche à la sortie
du haut-parleur SPEAKON CH-A OUT
(12).
