Before first Use
Remove the scale for the packaging and dispose off packaging material. Plastic
bags etc. may become a deadly toy for small children. Clean all digital scale with
a lightly moistened cloth.
Start-up
1. Open the battery compartment and remove the insulating strip that acts as a
battery transport protection. Close the battery compartment.
2. After pulling the insulating strip all symbols appear on the display for 2
seconds to confirm proper function. The minute digits start flashing. Now you
can adjust the time (see chapter Setting Time).
Setting Time
1. If the minute digits are flashing the scale is in time setting
mode. If the digits do not flash, press the key MODE and
keep pressed for 3 seconds in order to get time setting
mode.
2. Press the key UNIT to set the minutes. Each time you press the key you will
hear a confirmation sound and the value changes. If you keep the key UNIT
pressed the digits will change more rapidly.
3. To set the hour, press the key MODE. Press the key UNIT until the hour is
set. To change the digits more rapidly, hold the key UNIT pressed.
4. Finally, press MODE to save the entries or wait for 20 seconds. Now the
scale is in time display mode.
Switching ON the scale
1. To switch on the scale, press the key ON/TARE. On the display
appears. Now the scale is in weighing mode.
2. The initial setting is g (grams). To change the
unit of weight, press the key UNIT. The unit of
weight will change from g to oz and vice versa.
The last entry will be saved.
3. To quit weighing mode, hold the key ON/TARE pressed for 3 seconds or
press the key MODE once. Or wait 60 seconds.
