people or animals. Do not
touch any electrical leads
or combustible objects
with the hot steam iron.
• Always hold the plug
rather than the cable
when disconnecting.
• Disconnect the mains
plug
– before you leave the
room,
– prior to any maintenance
tasks,
– after use.
• Never use a damaged
extension cable.
• Do not wash the ap-
pliance to clean it. Wipe
only with a damp cloth.
• Do not operate the steam
iron system if the ap-
pliance, the leads or the
antikink device show any
signs of damage. If you
notice any damage to
these components,
please return the ap-
pliance to the Customer
Service for repair.
• Make sure the appliance
is only repaired by
authorized Customer
Service personnel as
special tools are required
to carry out repairs.
• If the system is to be
scrapped, make it
unusable (e.g. cut off the
power cord).
• No liability will be accep-
ted if the appliance is not
used for its intended
purpose or is incorrectly
operated.

Setting up the ironing
table

Note: Please bend your knees to
relieve the strain on your back
when pulling up the ironing table.
• Pull safety lock b and
height adjustment lever
simultaneously and adjust
ironing table with both
hands to the desired height.
• Release lever a. Make
sure that the ironing table
locks in place correctly.
• Fold up and fix steam tube
support.
• Take steam iron from
storage position and place
on rest. Clamp steam tube
into support.
Installing the Cable

• The cable support [11] is
included in the delivery.
Install it as shown in figure
on page IV.
Filling the water
reservoir

• Remove water reservoir,
open cap and fill with cold
or warm tap water (max.
35 °C). Do not use any
additives!
• Close cap and re-insert
water reservoir diagonally
from the bottom.
If you use demineralized or distil-
led water, the steam boiler does
not have to be descaled.
The water reservoir can be filled
directly at the steam ironing stati-
on using an appropriate container,
such as a bottle.

Please observe the
following when switching
the station on:
– The steam iron must be
placed on the rest before
you switch on the steam
ironing station.
– Switch on steam ironing
station only if the reservoir
is filled with water.
– When you switch the steam
ironing station on, you hear
a noise while the pump is
pumping water from the
water reservoir into the
steam boiler. Once the
steam boiler is full, the
noise stops. During the
operation the pump
temporarily switches on
from time to time which is
completely normal.
"Ready for use" indicator
lamp
• The indicator lamp is
activated when the power
cord is connected and the
appliance is switched on.
The lamp switches off once
operating temperature has
been reached.
