Installation
• The air conditioning unit should be
installed on a firm surface to minimise
noise and vibrations. Install the device
on a smooth, even surface that is strong
enough to bear the weight of the device.
• The device has casters to facilitate
installation, however it should only be
rolled on smooth and flat surfaces. Be
careful when rolling on carpet. Never try
to roll the device over objects.
• The device must be positioned near a
correctly grounded mains socket with a
suitable mains voltage.
• Never place obstacles near the air
intake or outlet.
• To ensure efficient air conditioning of
the device, position at a minimum dis-
tance of 30 cm from the wall (► p. 4,
fig. 1).
• Ensure that the window opening out-
wards is not obstructed. Close the win-
dow or the door as far as possible.
Temporary installation

– Turn the housing adapter and the win-
dow connector onto the ends of the
exhaust air hose.

– Inset the attachment clip of the housing
adapter into the opening on the rear
side of the air conditioning device.

– Place the other end of the exhaust air
hose onto the window sill.
Installation of the window mounting
kit
Note: Window mounting kit: Mini-
mum = 67.5 cm, Maxi-
mum = 123 cm (► p. 5, fig. 5)
Your window mounting kit was designed so
that it is suitable for most standard vertical
and horizontal windows; however, it may be
necessary to make some adjustments at
certain points for some types of windows.

– Adjust the length of the window mount-
ing kit to the width or height of the win-
dow, and affix with a wall plug.

– Insert the window connector of the hose
into the hole of the window mounting lit.
If the window opening is smaller than the
stated minimum length of the window
mounting kit, cut off the side with the hole to
match the window opening. Never cut a
hole in the window mounting kit.

Before commissioning, fully familiarise
yourself with the control panel and the
remote control, as well as its functions, and
then observe the symbols for the required
functions. The device can be operated sim-
ply via the control panel on the device or
using the remote control.
