Installation
• Inspect shipment. Inspect the unit. If it is
damaged, or if the shipment is incomple-
te, file a claim immediately with the
shipping company.
• Check that the local power supply agrees
with the specification on the unit
nameplate.
Siting the unit
The following precautions should be
observed for correct installation of the
indoor unit:
• Do not install the unit near a source of
heat, steam or flammable gas.
• Do not install the unit where a strong wind
blows or where it is very dusty.
• Leave the clearances for unobstructed air
flow.
Unit installation
The unit may be suspended from an
outside wall or placed on the ground. In
both cases, ensure that the unit is level.
Some type of vibration absorber should be
used to reduce the transmission of
vibrations.
Suspension from an outside wall
This kind of installation requires the use of
the optional support indicated in the
illustrations (or similar).
It should be assembled as follows:
• This option comes in four, unassembled
parts, together with the corresponding
screws and shock absorbers. They must

• Position the unit on the support and
fasten.
Installazione
• Assicurarsi che l'unità non abbia subito
danni durante il trasporto. Controllare che
non vi siano parti mancanti. In questo
caso, fate immediatamente reclamo alla
Società responsabile della spedizione.
• Assicuratevi che le caratteristiche della
alimentazione elettrica siano conformi con
i dati elettrici sulla targa caratteristiche
dell'unità.
Posizionamento
È necessario osservare le seguenti
precauzioni per una corretta installazione
dell'unità interna:
• Non installare l'unità vicino ad una fonte
di calore, vapore o gas infiammabile.
• Non installare l'unità in luogo troppo
ventilato o polveroso.
• Lasciare degli spazi come mostrato in
figura.
Installazione dell'unità
L'unità esterna può essere appesa a una
parete o collocata a terra. In entrambi i casi
assicurarsi che l'unità sia livellata. Si
consiglia l'uso di ammortizzatori in modo da
ridurre la trasmissione delle vibrazioni.
Installazione a una parete esterna
Questo tipo di installazione richiede
l'utilizzo di staffe di supporto (accessorio)
come mostrato nelle figure. Tali staffe
devono essere montate nel modo seguente:
• Si tratta di un accessorio composto da
quattro elementi smontati con relative viti.
Gli elementi devono essere uniti a due a
due.
• Avvitare gli elementi alla parete seguendo
le misure.
• Posizionare l'unità sulle staffe ed avvitare
come indicato.
