4. Design and function
When the power supply unit is no longer being used, the mains plug should be disconnected from the mains socket.

Do not leave the power supply unit connected to the rechargeable battery for longer than one day, since overloading can

shorten its service life.
Should the rechargeable battery still not be fully charged after 24 hours (in mains operation), contact the manufacturer.

When not being used, a charged rechargeable battery will lose its charge over time.
■
When the rechargeable battery is almost completely discharged, the message "low BAT" appears in the display. With
■
0 % battery level, the equipment automatically switches itself off and must then be recharged using the power supply unit.
During the charging time, it is not possible to operate the unit (in mains operation).

Interface

The CPH6000 pressure calibrator can be controlled through an interface (USB or RS-232) via a PC and the calibration data
can be retrieved with WIKA-Cal software. The cables are found in Accessories, see chapter 11 "Accessories".

Reference pressure sensor model CPT6000

For the model CPH6000 pressure calibrator, there are many reference pressure sensors to choose from, with measuring
ranges from 250 mbar to 6,000 bar and with accuracies of 0.025 % up to 0.1 %, and which can be interchanged quickly and
without tools.
When the pressure calibrator is switched on, the reference pressure sensor attached is recognised automatically, so that no
further configuration is needed.
For overpressure or gauge pressure sensors, there is a pressure compensation vent in the top of the sensor
housing under the plastic fitting.
This vent (with integrated diaphragm) must always remain clear!

4.5.1 Mechanical connection

The CPT6000 is fixed to the case by a hexagonal anti-rotation stop and a manual quick-release connector.
