The cable cross-section measurements must be chosen ac-
cording to the system consumption, as well as the cable
routes and distances, the chosen protective systems, and
the specific standards for fixed electrical systems in force in
the country where the hot tub is installed.
- The rated power supply voltage of the equipment is always
220-240V.
■ The installer must comply with the above, as well as using wa-
tertight fittings at the junction points, and ensuring compli-
ance with the specific standards for fixtures in force in the
country where the hot tub is installed.
You must comply with this last regulation. Any other proce-

Electrical safety

The Jacuzzi® hot tubs are safe appliances, manufactured accord-
ing to EN 60335.2.60, EN 61000 and EN 55014 standards and
tested during production to guarantee user safety.
■ Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel who
are authorised to install the product, in compliance with the na-
tional regulations in force.
m
It is the installer's responsibility to select the mate-
rials according to use, carry out the installation cor-
rectly, and verify the condition of the network to
which the appliance will be connected, as well as its
suitability in ensuring usage safety during mainte-
nance and inspection operations.
■ The Jacuzzi® hot tubs are class "1" appliances. This means that
they must be connected to the electrical mains and earthing
system permanently, without any intermediary junctions.
m
The building's electrical system must be equipped
with a 0.03 A residual current device and an efficient
earthing circuit.
Make sure that the residual current device is in good
working order by pressing the TEST button, which
must trip.

Live components and equipment must not be within
the reach of individuals in the hot tub.

ance itself.
■ When connecting to the mains, we advise installing a multi-
pole circuit breaker, which completely disconnects the appliance
in the event of a category III overvoltage; these devices must be
positioned in an area that complies with the safety regulations.
■ The installation of electrical devices and equipment (sock-
ets, switches, etc.) near the hot tub must comply with the legal
standards and regulations in the country where the hot tub is
installed.
■ For the equipotential connection prescribed by the specific
national standards, the installer must use the terminal provided
(as per standard EN 60335.2.60
identified with the
metal masses surrounding the hot tub, such as water pipes, gas
pipes, metal boards around the edge, etc., are equipotential.
■ The equipment is fitted with an LED lighting system
compliant with the standard EN 62471.

CAUTION! Before carrying out any maintenance, discon-
