FUSE CHECK/REPLACEMENT

NOTE
All of the machine's electronic circuits are protected by electronic devices which reset automatically. The safety fuses
blow only in the event of serious faults.
For this reason, fuses should only be replaced by qualified personnel.
Refer to the service manual available from Nilfisk retailers.

SAFETY FUNCTIONS

The machine is equipped with the following safety functions.

EMERGENCY PUSH-BUTTON

It is to the left side of the operator (69). It has to be pressed in case of emergency, to stop all the machine functions.

DRIVER'S SEAT MICROSWITCH

This is located inside the driver's seat (3) and it does not allow the machine to operate if the operator is not seated on the driver's
seat.

ANTI-SKID SAFETY SYSTEM

Reduces speed to a safe value, where necessary, when steering and when driving on a camber, in order to prevent skidding and
increase the machine's stability in all operating conditions.

MACHINE ANGLE SENSOR

If the hopper is to be raised with the machine not on level ground, the system reduces the speed of movement of the hopper and
warns the operator that the machine stability conditions may be critical depending on the weight of refuse contained, via a different
buzzer sound and the icon on the display (71) as shown in figure 30.

HOPPER POSITION SENSOR

When the hopper is lifted, the sensor reduces the machine speed, turns off the vacuum fan and stops the broom rotation.

HOPPER SAFETY VALVE

When the hopper is lifted, the safety valve on the hydraulic lifting cylinder prevents the hopper to accidentally lower.
