must never be blocked or covered.

AFETY INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING THE INSTALLATION
When installing the appliance, ensure optimal heat radiation to maintain the
operating safety.
The wall and the reach of the heat radiation above the worktop must be made of
heat-resistant materials.
To avoid any damage, the sandwich layer and adhesive must resist heat.
Provide an installation opening relevant to the dimensions on the drawings in
chapter 2.3 D
IMENSIONS
shall be preserved around the installation opening.
The thickness of the worktop must be at least 30 mm. Choose heat-resistant
materials for the work top only to avoid any deformation caused by the heat-
radiation of the appliance.
The safety distance between the induction hob and a wall cupboard above must
be at least 760 mm.
The safety distance between the induction hob and an extractor hood above
must be at least 760 mm.
Install a thermal protection below the bottom of the appliance when installing
the hob above a drawer or a cupboard.
If you install the hob above a built-in oven, both the hob and the built-in oven
must be connected to the mains separately.
If the hob is installed above an oven, the oven must be equipped with a cooling
system.
1. Before installing the induction hob, you must fix the adhesive seal
bottom edge of the induction hob properly (s. fig. below).
The seal must be fitted tightly on the bottom edge of the induction hob (no
overlaps, no gaps etc.) to prevent liquids etc. from entering the installation
opening subsequently.
