5 - GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING

5.1 - ERROR DISPLAY (INDOOR UNIT)

When indoor unit a recognized error, the indicator light will flash in a corresponding series, the timer display
may turn on or begin flashing, and an error code will be displayed. These error codes are described in the
following table:

FOR EACH ERROR:
Switch off the unit and wait 2 minutes before restarting it, if the problem persists, please contact the
assistance centre.

5.2 - OTHER ERROR

The display board may show a garbled code or a code undefined by the service manual. Ensure that this
code is not a temperature reading.
Test the unit using the remote control.
- If the unit does not respond to the remote, the indoor PCB requires replacement.
- If the unit responds, the display board requires replacement.

Indoor / outdoor units communication error
Zero-crossing signal detection error (for some models)
The indoor fan speed is operating outside of the normal range
Indoor room temperature sensor T1 is in open circuit or has short circuited
Evaporator coil temperature sensor T2 is in open circuit or has short circuited
Indoor PCB / Display board communication error (for some models)
Refrigerant leak detected
Overload current protection
Outdoor ambient temperature sensor T4 open circuit or short circuit
Condenser coil temperature sensor T3 is in open circuit or has short circuited
Compressor discharge temperature sensor TP open circuit or short circuit
Outdoor unit EEPROM parameter error
The outdoor fan speed is operating outside of the normal range
Evaporator coil outlet temperature sensor T2B is in open circuit or has short cir-
cuited(for free-match indoor units)
IPM malfunction or IGBT over-strong current protection
Over voltage or over low voltage protection
High temperature protection of IPM module or high pressure protection
Inverter compressor drive error
Indoor units mode conflict(match with multi outdoor unit)
Low pressure protection(for some models)
