You should ideally use ramps to get over obstacles.
Only use the kerb climber if no ramps are available.
•
Drive carefully up to the kerb and make sure that you can get up
the kerb height with the legrests.
•
Make sure that you only drive the up to the kerb head on.
•
You must only go up the kerb in the slowest drive mode.
•
Place the kerb climber carefully onto the kerb and accelerate slowly
until you have gone up the obstacle with the front wheels.
•
Then continue driving slowly until you have also gone up the ob-
stacle with the rear wheels.
5.8. Crutch holder (optional)
Put the crutch in the crutch holder and then fix it to the backrest.

Never step on the crutch holder and never use it as a tipping aid (Fig.
32).
5.9. Rearview mirror (optional)
With the optional rearview mirror, which is fitted to the armpad, you
have better all-round visibility. You can simply push or pull it to the
required position (Fig. 33).

5.10. Fixing a bag (optional)
If you want to fit a bag to your wheelchair, you can hang the straps of
the bag available over the back tubes of your wheelchair.
Bags are also available as accessories.
Please note that reflectors must not be covered.
