Pneumatic diaphragm valve DIASTAR
4. Move actuator to "CLOSED" position.
5. To remove the diaphragm from the housing: Hold actuator and turn diaphragm counterclockwise.
6. Install a new diaphragm in the same position as the old diaphragm.
► Place the actuator straight up for the first rotations, this is so that the grub screw of the diaphragm holder can grip the dia-
phragm.
► Screw in the diaphragm clockwise hand-tight.
► Turn back the diaphragm again at least 90 / maximum 360°. Re-align the sealing bead of the diaphragm parallel to the sealing
bar. The lugs of the diaphragm must be positioned exactly between the narrow guides groove of the inner housing.
WARNING!
Diaphragm screwed in incorrectly!
If the diaphragm is not correctly screwed into the inner housing as specified, leaks and material damage may occur. The function of
the valve is no longer guaranteed.
► Screw the diaphragm correctly into the inner housing.
7. If the diaphragm material is changed: Loosen and remove the friction lock (1) on the valve body using a screwdriver. Press in the
new friction lock.
