Operating instructions

Before switching on the power tool
 Unpack power tool and accessories
and check that no parts are missing
or damaged.
Attaching/changing the auxiliary
handle

LDC 1709 FR/LDC 1509 FR:
 Loosen and remove 2 screws (WAF 13).
 Push grip over the gear head (1.).
To enable to use the electric power tool
without tiring and to control it safely,
attach the grip as follows:
– For right-handed people:
Threaded insert on right
– For left-handed people:
Threaded insert on left
 Insert and tighten 2 screws (2.).
LD 1709 FR:
 Loosen and remove 2 screws (WAF 13).
 Push bail handle over the gear head (1.).
 Insert and tighten 2 screws (2.).
Inserting and changing the sanding
tools

 Press and hold down the spindle lock (1.).
 Using the stop key, loosen the clamping nut
on the spindle in an anti-clockwise direction
and remove (2.).
 Insert diamond sanding pad (A) correctly.
