Problem
The dishwasher
cannot be operated.
The door opens by
itself.

Error indicators

Code Cause
E1 It takes too long for
the water to fill up.
E3 Malfunction in the
heating element.
E4 Water overflow.
E8 Fault with the
distribution valve.
Ec Malfunction of the
washing control
system.
Ed Communication fault
between display and
control panel.
Possible cause
The sensors are locked.
This is not an error. The door opens automatically during the
drying phase (except for "pre-rinse" programme). This helps
ensure optimal drying results.
Solution
Turn the water tap on completely.
Arrange the inlet hose properly so that it is not kinked
(see "Connect the inlet hose" on page EN-30).
Ensure that the water pressure is correct (see
"Technical specifications" on page EN-42).
Switch off the appliance, disconnect from the mains
and inform our Service department (see page EN-40).
Close tap, find leak (or have someone find it) and
repair the leak (or have it repaired).
