Disposal
Environmental Protection
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle
where facilities exist. Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice.

Storage Conditions
We recommend that the sensor is stored at room temperature. If the sensor is not in use it
has to be stored with the sensor tip and the diaphragm immersed in a container or protec-
tive cap filled with electrolyte (9823 / 3M KCl or 9848 Friscolyt™), in order to avoid
the X-Chip drying out.
If a sensor is inadvertently left in a dry condition for too long, it must be soaked in storage
electrolyte for several hours until proper measurement function is restored.
