4 CONFIGURATION
4.3.3 K factor
This menu makes it possible to program the K factor of the connected sensor or S030
fitting (value between 0,01 and 80000). The "Teach in" procedure makes it possible to
experimentally determine the application specific K factor.This can be achieved by letting a
known amount of liquid flow through the installation.
Example: The user has a 100 litre capacity tank. When "TEACH Y" is displayed, press the
ENTER key to start measurement and switch on the pump (or open the valve). Message
"FILL END" (end of filling) is displayed. When the tank is filled switch off the pump (or close
the valve) and press the ENTER key to stop measurement, then enter the measured volume
(100 litres). Validate by pressing the ENTER key: the calculated K factor is displayed.
Please note: The transmitter uses the last either calculated or manually entered K factor.
